Kaiser Permanente is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman care, collaborating closely with obstetricians and an interdisciplinary team to support safe, evidence-based births. Responsibilities include conducting exams, managing labor and deliveries, stabilizing newborns, and providing patient education and counseling. You’ll contribute to quality improvement initiatives, use EMR systems for documentation, and support a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continual improvement in patient care.
Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to diverse patient populations
Conduct physical assessments, manage labor and deliveries, and provide newborn stabilization
Offer gynecologic and family planning services aligned with evidence-based guidelines
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care
Document care thoroughly in EMR systems and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Educate and counsel patients and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care
Participate in on-call rotation, triage, and emergency obstetric care as needed
Support a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continual improvement in patient services

Master’s degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program
Current national certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Eligible for state APRN/NP licensure
